Mechanical/thermal/chemical properties of metals can be enhanced by reinforcing them with a variety of reinforcements such as carbon nano-materials (e.g., fullerenes, CNTs, graphene, etc.), high-entropy alloys, and in-situ nano-phases in metal matrix composites. We engineer the microstructure (interfacial features, degree of dispersion, etc.) to develop metal matrix composites with world-record properties
